Winter holidays at Haldensee full of activity
From fun on the pistes, to curling, to incredible footpaths, winter in Tannheimertal really does have everything to offer. And for those who are not into outdoor activities, a sports centre, indoor swimming pool and much more awaits. Outdoors, children may sledge, build a snowman or have a snowball fight in the fresh air, or try bowling, table football, board games, playstation and drawing indoors.
For walkers there are over 50km of cleared pathways, and those lucky enough to catch a particularly clear day will be treated to a view of the Zugspitze. Snow shoe walking, riding in horse-drawn carriages, sledging, ice skating and curling on Haldensee or in the ice rink in Tannheim (December to mid-April) are also on offer. Or for something special, try hot air ballooning – take in the view of Tannheimtertal from a breathtaking perspective. In addition there are classic ski pistes, cross-country skiing loops, and tours - what more could one want for the perfect winter holidays in Tyrol?
